Like the original game, the iPhone and the iPod touch version mixes aspects of stealth with action, combat and some minor puzzle-solving. The game also features skill-based mini-games, cinematic cutscenes, the ability to upgrade Altair and his six different weapons, and 3D graphics.
New to the iPhone are a collection of mini-games, touch-based controls, and a scaled-down 3D engine which operates primarily from an isometric perspective. The game is expected to premiere on the App Store sometime next week. The pricing is yet to be announced.
Update: Assassin's Creed now on App Store. Yep! Gameloft's iPhone and iPod Touch adaptation of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles is now live. You can now purchase and download it from the App Store for US$ 9.99.

This game seems awesome! I really have enjoyed the free demo and have played through it 10+ times. I'm considering buying the full version. How many different ways to kill people? Are there missions where you have to sneak around in order to kill a specific target? I hope so!
ReplyDeleteEven if no, I'll probably buy it anyway at a time when I have time to play it!
Great game for free and play with ipod touch.
