According to a new report, a file inside the iOS 5.1 code has been found that references the 5th generation iPod touch. 9to5Mac reports that they have found a reference to "iPod5,1" which indicates that the apple might be working on the 5th generation iPod Touch. The 4th generation iPod touch was previously referenced as "iPod4,1" and so the report says that "iPod5,1" could mean the 5th generation iPod touch. If you recall, the iPod touch is the only iOS device that hasn't had an update in 2011 except for the release of the white iPod touch. If this is true then we could see the new iPod touch this fall in time for the 2012 holiday season. [via 9to5mac] Labels: Apple-iPod-Touch-News | ||||
