Show me more... According to the company’s Mobile blog, the team behind the apps has completely re-architected the code to offer more consistent performance, and refreshed the user interface to make it easier to perform batch actions, along with laying the groundwork for future improvements. If the network connection dies down, you will still be able to open recently read messages and compose new emails over a “flaky, or non-existent, network connection.” Other improvements include easier to read labels that are more in-line with their desktop counterparts and a relocated search menu. This new Gmail for mobile requires iPhone/iPod Touch OS 2.2.1 or above and can be accessed now by visiting gmail.com from an iPhone or iPod touch. It is currently only available in English only. If you have an older firmware version, you'll be directed to the previous Gmail for mobile. All Android-powered phones are supported. Labels: Apple-iPod-Touch-News, iPod-Touch-Apps | ||||
